Pet And Wildlife Sanctuaries is a 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to establishing protected sanctuaries where we rehabilitate and care for all species of animals, both wild and domestic. With the support of veterinary and nutritional experts, we work to provide a natural, nurturing habitat for each of our sanctuary residents. Animals come to us for a variety of reasons, including behavioral and medical issues, and we ensure that each one receives individualized treatment and care.
Pet and wildlife sanctuaries (PAWS)
delaware
It all began with an idea. Fast forward nearly a decade, and that idea has become a reality with the launch of PAWS’ first sanctuary location in New Castle, DE. Our dedicated team of wildlife and nature experts, in collaboration with local rescue partners, has worked tirelessly to ensure that our first location is well-equipped to support Delaware’s native species, as well as those passing through on their migratory journeys.
mid-atlantic region
With our Delaware location now open and thriving, we are actively raising funds to sustain our success and ensure our sanctuary animals remain healthy and happy. We are also exploring opportunities to expand into neighboring states like Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Our goal is to establish multiple locations across the Mid-Atlantic Region by 2027, broadening our reach and impact.
East Coast
Following our anticipated expansion throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region, we plan to continue growing along the Eastern Coast of the United States, from Maine to Florida, with locations in each state in between. Our goal is to be present in every state east of the Mississippi River by 2032.
midwest
After establishing a strong presence on the East Coast, our next phase of expansion will focus on the Midwest. Our team will seek locations across the Midwest Region, with a particular emphasis on large states like Texas, while also considering the less populated plains. Our goal is to have a complete Midwest presence by 2036.
west coast
The last area of the United States we will expand into is the West Coast of the United States. We will complete our goal of at least one location in all Fifty (50) States, and will manage each location consistent with the policies set forth by our parent company, Pet and Wildlife Sanctuaries.
internationally
Animals are struggling and dying all over the world. Once we have established locations in all 50 states, PAWS, Inc. will take our mission internationally, starting with locations in Canada and Mexico, and expanding into Central and South America by 2044, in time for our 20th Anniversary.
